Hello all.

I just purchased two Seagate 160gb sataIII/6.0G drives.(so says the label on them) I know my mother board is only SATA II. For some reason in the Raid setup they are listed as 1.5gb. I ran HD tune and the numbers were on the lower side, 166 burst. My Green 640gb 5400rpm drive actually had higher burst speed. the drives appear to have a jumper-like configuration on the input side but different from the normal M/S/CS configuration. Any insight on this would be helpful. thanks guys.

the jumper in the back is for limiting your hard drives to sata1.5Gbps, if you remove these jumpers it will let the hard drives max out at 6Gbps or in your case 3Gbps.
