I might get this job as a computer/laptop repair. Basically i gotta format disks and install windows but more in depth i have to:
(1.) Format Hard Drive
(2.) Install Win Xp or Vista with Service Pack 2 or 3
(3.) Microsoft Office Package
(4.) Recent Anti Virus Software with (Free Lifetime Updates)
(5.) Adobe Acrobat
(6.) Laptop Cleaning of the keyboard, screen and other case.
(7.) Diagnostics of the entire system after to check hard drive, cd & Dvd rom, floppy Disk.
i know how to do all of the above, but if anyone out there knows some problems that might occur or that rarely occur, can you plz tell me them.
learning the art of getting drivers, installing the microsoft uaa driver if you have high def audio and not sp3, make sure sata raid mode is one ide mode or combined for installing xp on some newer pc's.
That's some dirty work. I started out doing the dirty work. Now I just surf the internet all day while others do the dirty work for me. I still miss it sometimes, which is why I build and repair computers on the side for beer money. Good luck on your new job.
Laptop screws are so hard to keep track off. You take off like 20 of them, but in the end, after putting assembling everything, you still have 3 or 4 left.
