How do you overclock an AMD Athlon II (Quad Core) 645 3.1 ghz?

I want to overclock my graphics card. I need to know two things: Can I overclock it, and if I can, to what extent? How to overclock it?

What GPU do you have?

To over clock you use a tool like MSI afterburner or Sapphire Trixx; overclocking is where you adjust the speed of the core, memory and on some cards the shader speeds, and then you test it in games and bench marks to see if they're stable.

Additionally you can over volt (this is an advanced technique and I don't recommend it) this give the GPU more "power" to use but it shortens the life of the card and can kill it.
