Would there be a significant boost in performance if I were to upgrade as said in the title of my thread?

My system specs are as follows:
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE 3.2Ghz
3GB-667Mhz Ram
XFX HD 5750 1GB DX11
GA-MA770-UD3 (rev 2.0) Motherboard
OCZ ModXStream 700W PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit (some reason shows I have 2GB+ out of 3GB Total) *
150GB HDD 8MB Cache 7200RPM Western Digital

Would that 3GB-667Mhz upgrade to a 4GB-1066Mhz RAM make a boost in fps?
(not planning on upgrading graphics card anytime soon, so please don't suggest a GPU as im on a budget)

*I also have a question on why Windows 7 is showing that I have 1GB Cached RAM and 1GB Available out of the 3GB total? (I will have a link attached to show what I mean)

Really depends on what configuration your 3gb of 66 is. Is it at least in dual channel mode?? (2x1gb and 2x512mb)??

Going from single channel mode to dual channel mode would boost performance.

No, Ive got 1x2GB and 1x1GB... thats not dual channeled is it? Haha, so 4GB (2x2GB) would certainly be better right?

Can someone also tell me whats up with what the taskmanager tells me about my ram. 2GB out of 3? Whats with that..
