yea i was hoping to get away with the cheaper mobo, i guess i will pick up the Asus P6 V2
also added Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B. Intel CPU Heatsink with IC Diamond
(do i need to get 2 extra fan clips? and anything else to go with it?)
it says the Yate loon is 25mm and the clips 38mm, will this still work or should i look for 25mm clips?

no.....rev B has the 2 clips

2200 rpm is way over prolima spec.....they say 800-1200

BTW , asus just told me that if you want temp based speed control , use PWM fans
