Which programs can clone to a raid drive

I am trying to set up a raid array using my existing install of server 2008
If i can copy it then i can make it boot no problem
but when i try any dos based program to copy to my disks they do not see the raid hard drives.

Acronis true image home is the best I have used. You can create a bootable usb disk with the software that will allow you to copy the image to the RAID array without installing windows on it first.
