port 01: reset port error

I get the error port 1: reset port error how do I correct this

My computer will not boot up. How do i fix this?

  1. Plug the data cable to another SATA port .

    Make sure that both, your data and power connectors are securely fastened.
  2. If you still get it after securing cable, try a different drive and cable. If still having issues, could be a dodgy port.

    What motherboard is it?
