Hard drive suddenly stopped working

Hello,
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and after a couple of days of windows installation, after I had just completed installing a game, the computer suddenly halted and when I restarted the system, the bios wouldn't detect my hard drive. Please help me. My system specs are:
Asus Rampage III Formula Motherboard
Intel Core i7 960 3.20 GHz processor
Corsair 4 GB 1333 MHz RAM
EVGA GTX 470 Graphic Card.

Is the drive detected when connected to another system?

Go to the Hard drive manuf website and down load their HDD utility program - should be an ISO so that you can boot to it. run their diagnostics.
