Not once have I seen anyone take the time, patience and multitudes of paragraphs to explain how to overclock. You would best be finding a guide online. I recommend reading more than one guide. I think I read like 5 before overclocking my Athlon 3200+ for the first time. If you learn more visually, check out the videos you can find.
Also a note, do not overclock using software. Always do your overclocking in the bios. Alter the base clock. Do not forget to check for stability with a program like prime95(for CPU) and memtest86(for memory). An unstable CPU or ram can lead to a lot of problems and corrupt data.
