Hi, I have a hp 4050tn, it was printing ok, when suddenly 1 day, there was a power surge and since then, I can not print from the computer, not even a test page or in notepad. However, I can print path test and menu path directly from the computer. The computer is saying "ready". I have download PCL 6 driver but still it is not printing. Any help will be appreciated!

a power surge will not remove drivers you already had installed in your system, but if you do not have a battery backup unit or power filter on your computer and printer, it can physically damage the equipment. Uninstall all the printer drivers you have installed for that printer. download and install the latest printer drivers directly from the manufacturer's website for that specific model only. cross your fingers. if it doesnt work then you'll need to get your computer or printer checked.
