Minimum PSU requirments for mild OC

Alright so I am attempting my first OC build this upcoming weekend once the parts finish shipping in and I would like to save some money by using my PSU from an older computer that is a 500w corsair PSU. The problem is I know that when I OC it the wattage and what not will go up but by how much I am wondering I will be overclocking the AMD Phenom II 960t Black Edition 4 core. I will try to go and unlock the 2 extra cores though as well. The OC I am looking to get is from 3ghz that it comes with to about 3.8-4ghz if possible I just wondering how much power that will suck.

A quality 500w will easily power that system, even with the unlocked cores and a good overclock.
