Overclocking possible?

So I have http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_711_1183&products_id=19919
that motherboard and the intel 2500k + coolermaster hyper 212 evo.

Can i safely get a 4.5 ghz overclock?

More about overclocking possible
  1. It's impossible to know, you seem to have the right tech, try it and get your hands dirty!
  2. Yes, but I would stay away from the v-lx boards at all cost! This is a much better board: http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=138_711_1183&products_id=19867 and it has more power phases so it offers better overclocking stability!
  3. Well i already bought this board and was wanting a more definite answer :(

    6 power phases good enough?
  4. I dont' see why not, however honestly it isn't a good board for overclocking. The components aren't as good and they just are so "basic" You can't even run crossfire/sli to their full potentials.

Oh okay, but if I bought the board that you recommended above, it would run sli and overclock well?
