My sandisk micro SD memory card is not functioning

Hi,
I bought a new card reader. I had to transfer few photos from the memory card of my mobile to my desktop. Removed memory card from mobile & inserted in the card reader to transfer the photos. Copied photos successfully. Removed memory card from card reader & inserted back to the mobile. There is some junk characters appearing in memory card data.
What should I do to get rid of junk characters, as I have got few important photos, music.

What do you mean by "junk characters"? Maybe your memory card got some virus from your pc.
