Dvd drive not working

HELLO
1 day old pc ACER Z 5700 DVD drive slim type DVD A DL8ATSH
my pc asked to make a factory default disc. tried with a new dvd ,it start spining but in few seconds the dvd drive just spit out the dvd with the following message: error .,,insert a blank dvd.I tried few times but at the end the dvd drive stop working and got a error code something like 027 . Since then I cant put in any dvd or other discs.
If i go with a right click in dvd drive E it showed me: this device is working properly
PLESE ADIVICE WHAT TO DO

Unfortunately DVD drives are not as reliable as they used be in the old days. If its under warranty then get it replaced.
