Tight budget but I'll consider having crossfire HD 4770 or most affordable HD 5xxx.

I just wanted to ask if AMD 785 board will be great for a single card solution too.

Here is my plan.

processor: AMD Athlon X4 620

memory: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

motherboard: ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO or ASUS M4A785TD-M EVO if ATX version not available

casing: Antec 300 or Antec 200
if budget needs for the 790GX board.

video card: Radeon HD 5770 (playable with my LG W2252TQ monitor 1680x1050 resolution)

i'm in the philippines and availability and pricing may not be same as with newegg. I was hoping my buddy will buy the processor and memory from newegg and pay him when he returns to our country this december.

I just need your opinion guys.

Well other than 785G there is also 770 chipset which makes sense as 1680 x 1050 does not require a multi GPU solution IMO hehe

yep.... but planning on getting 24inches soon. and 785G might really be great for me... so the ASUS boards be ok?
