Acer G31 Motherboard with DDR2 667

will my motherboard run DDR2 800 ram and if so would it be faster than the DDR2 667 ram?

Check your motherboard manual or provide the specific model number. If your motherboard supports DDR2-800, yes it will be faster than DDR2-667. However benchmarks are required to see the 1-2% performance improvement.
