So, I purchased a Crucial 64GB M4SSD.....

The instructions on it look like its for a notebook, but will this work with the computer I'm building???

Cooler Master Computer Case RC-692-KKN2
ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

This is my first build, go easy on me!

The SSD looks like its too small, is there a mounting plate that will come with my Tower? Also, how will this be connected?

The crucial m4 is 2.5" which is laptop size. Your case does come with an adapter 3.5" to 2.5" so will not be an issue.

Yes, it will work in your PC since it is a SATA HDD.

Most SSDs are 2.5" instead of the typical desktop sized 3.5" HDDs. Most cases can't handle 2.5" drives, but you can buy an adapter or make your own (I've used string pinned under the screws tied around the case). Here is a cheap one - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Actually, there are 3.5" SSD's which go up to 1GB in storage. EDIT: they are available on newegg, just never saw them there :-D

Thanks for the reply!

I just read the specs on the tower, and saw that it comes with the mounting plate! Should have reviewed that in the first place before freaking out!

Thanks again!
