Hello,

I am looking for a recommendation on a homebuilt system that would be used for mostly Microsoft Flight Simulator X (other, lower priority games: The Sims3, and America's Army) on the gaming side and Microsoft Office Professional 2007, and Photoshop on the home office side. Any recommendations would be very helpful.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: December 2009

BUDGET RANGE: $800- $1000.00 Before / After Rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Microsoft Flight Simulator X with high frame rate and high quality graphics

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: MS Notebook Optical Mouse 3000, ViewSonic VX2260WM monitor, keyboard, CH USB Flight Yoke, CH USB Pedals

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, amazon.com, tigerdirect.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: I would like to use an Intel quad-core CPU, nVidia graphics card, full tower case

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe (but I would really like not to depend on extreme overclocking)
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes / No / Maybe

MONITOR RESOLUTION: Currently I use 920x1080 on my ViewSonic VX2260WM but I also have a Sony Bravia LCD KDL40Z4100 that I would be able to connect the PC to using DVI to HDMI - or maybe the two as dual monitors?

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I would run either Windows 7 in 32 or 64 bit (which would be better?), a relatively quiet PC would be nice. I use a Comcast cable internet connection, that also powers a wireless router for 2 other laptops throughout the house
