Yea I can, is the radeon hd 4870 the best choice after the 4470?

What other options do I have for GPUs? I like to game from time to time...

Oh ya I was thinking about the G.SKILL 4GB DDR3 1600, is that one better than the OCZ Platinum 4GB DDR3-1600 CL7 Low Voltage?

The 4850 is the next card really up from the 4770. I would look at any GPU in the 4800 series or any 5000 series card. A good all around card with DX11 is the ATI 5770. I'm a fan of XFX cards due to their great warranties and performance.

Here is a site to look at for options.... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/productlist.php?groupid=7...

edit: G.SKILL or OCZ are both very good memory. I would go with which one is the lowest cost for you, since they both have similar timings and speeds.

I would go with one of the 5xxx. They've got DirectX11 support, which will make them last a little longer.

As far as the RAM, it depends on which G.Skill you're talking about. The OCZ have a CAS Latency of 7, while the majority (6/9) of the G.Skill have 8s or 9s, meaning they're generally slower. However, there are a few sets that are also 7s. I think the cheapest set was $105 on newegg (1.6V). Those might be as good or better and will save you $20

Alright thanks, there's so little choice for the RAM I want to have, so I'm going to have to wait 14 days for the OCZ one with 1.65V, 1600 DDR3 and CAS Latency of 7, but I guess it will be worth it.

I've managed to get my budget up by a few to afford the RADEON HD 5850, would this be a good choice in my system(will all the components work well together)? Also will the PSU be enough for this gfx card?

Oh ya, will the gfx fit in my case?

Alright going to order the system now, thanks for all the help.
