Hello,
Upgraded to Windows 7 from XP. After upgrade I could no longer see 1 TB internal WD drive that I had installed previously, and had worked flawlessly. Cant see it in Bios or Disk Management. Cracked the case and pulled the drive, then installed in another machine. Works fine, can see and manipulate all the data. Then tried new cables in old box, but with no luck. Any ideas?

Go to the command line and run diskpart.
Then type "list disk"
Let me know if it shows up there.

Also try flashing your BIOS to the latest version.
