I'm looking to get some opinions on this, since I've only built one other computer before. I'm on a very tight budget, and my 5 year old system is just not up to par... when I play WOW I have to keep it to medium settings pretty much, and WOW is not even a graphically demanding game.

Case - The fact it comes with a 585W power supply is the main reason I went with this. I'm assuming 585W will be enough for this system - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811121065

CPU - Cheap, powerful enough for my needs? - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103681

Motherboard - Again cheap and seems to do the trick - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128392

Video Card
- I think this card is at the sweet spot of price/performance ratio. Was thinking of going with a GT 220 at first, which would save me $60, but I don't think the 220 would give me quite enough power. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814134079

RAM - 5 stars on newegg, good price, 4 gigs of fast RAM. - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231193

Hard Drive
- I'm under the impression HD's don't have much effect on gaming, but maybe I'm wrong? Either way this seems like a decently priced, good quality HD. -

Final Price (After Shipping) = $515.49

Anything I should change?

Ah cool, yeah that would shave off $10 and judging from that World At World test and the benchmarks here: www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu_list.php
it appears to be the better choice.

Gonna go with that 4770 now, unless I find a better deal.

Thanks :D

Mmhm. I really like the build. Gigabyte has some definite eco-settings, and the 4770 is the sweet spot for your build.

Just bear in mind, the brand for the case and PSU might not make the most reliable products in the world! And 585w is peak wattage (probably with exaggerated efficiency.)

The X-Power 585 (the PSU you are getting) has only 75% efficiency. Not only is that non-eco-friendly, but that means that your psu can only reliably handle 438.75 watts...

585 x .75 = 438.75. Check out http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp for a nice PSU calc...

Other than that gripe, I think the build looks great. That CPU, Mobo have excellent eco features, and they are very powerful as well. Good luck! :)
