How to update my gateway lx6810 bios

Hi everybody,

I just bought a Gateway LX6810 after having read a lot of reviews about it. I went ahead and paid someone to put in a case fan since i knew this model didn't have any and that was causing issues with overheating. But my processor cores still are running to hot and would like to know how to update my BIOS because i have heard gateway re-set the fan speed 3000 RPMS in the bios update.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Check in ur BIOS for the "fan control" option, as far I know the pre-build don't have the BIOS update option.
