First off theres no point in going past 4x AA and 8x Anisotropic filtering since you can't tell the difference, and secondly- no (well maybe at like 15fps).
  2. 1. No it cannot. It might be able to at 1280x1024
    2. You're better off getting a 5850...cheaper, performs better, supports dx11, runs cooler, and uses less power.
  3. Well ya true. Good answer. ok i have another question. which is better, what i have now (9800gtx+ sli) or a 285gtx?
  4. how much does a 5850 run for?
  5. 2x9800GTX+ performs better than a GTX285.

A 5850 runs for about $260 retail, but it's currently out of stock (and will be for a few more weeks)...and you have people selling it on ebay for $300. The GTX285 costs around $300-$350ish

A 5850 performs about the same as 2x9800GTXs
  6. Alight cool! thanks dude. i was going to buy a 285gtx tomorrow too. but now that i know my 9800gtx+ sli out performs it, i'll save my money and get a 5850 whenever they might be in stock. or even better a 5870.
