Is the zalman zm-rhs88 required for the VF1000 led on a 8800 gt?

Well my topic pretty much has it... Does anybody know? I've been getting mixed answers from Google.

The VF1000 aslo comes with the RAM Heatsinks. 8 of them I believe. The ZM-RHS88 is for the G80 series and the 8800GT is a G92 series GPU and dose not require the extra Heatsink (ZM-RHS88). The extra Heatsinks I bought were for the MOSFETs chips that the original cooler for the 8800GT was touching to keep cool. They get very hot!

Well, its nice to be able to report back that I successfully mounted the new cooler on my gpu and that its now idling around 40c instead of the old 55-65c (holy crap what a difference!). Since I didnt have any heatsinks handy I decided to just try it out naked as mousemonkey had mentioned doing earlier and it seems to be fine. c:
