A friend is offering me a core 2 duo out of one of the many vpro machines he is getting rid of where he works. I have done come research and have not been able to tell if the processor itself is physically different than the same model non Vpro core2. I know the chipset in a Vpro system has additional features built in but have not be able to tell if the processor does as well. In short, will they be able to tell I have the processor if someone decides my friend should not have given me the processor out of their companys old computer? Or is this only true if I have the entire system together still. Thanks!
