G.Skill or Patriot?

Hi there,
This is my first post so I am sorry in advance if I'm in the wrong place.

I need help on which Memory to buy. My choices are;

1) G.Skill 6G Kit ddr3 1600 NQ... $219AUS
2) Patriot 6G Kit ddr3 1600 Signature...$219AUS

My computer specs are;
ASUS P6T Motherboard
Intel Core i7 930 CPU
Nvidia GT220 Graphics Card
2x Seagate 500GB SATA HDD's

I plan to do some mild overclocking but at the moment I need to know which Memory to go for. They are the same price so that doesnt matter, but any info on performance, relibility etc will be most helpful.

Both are good brands. Anyway, I would go for the Gskill modules. If wanted, they can run at 1066Mhz CL7 too.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

None of those, the G.Skill have a high CL and the Patriot are DDR3 1066 that is the same that have DDR2 1066.

If u want something better, go with one of this G.Skill 1600 CL7 or G.Skill 1600 CL6
