So im building a new computer and i dont wanna drop 400 dollars on a 256 bit dx 11 GPU.

Im debating on getting a 128 bit bus dx 11 GPU

or

Getting it because theres a combo with PSU's

OR

If i should get a 256 bit bus dx 10 GPU

What should I do? I want to be prepared for future dx 11 games, but I know that technology will always be advancing and I would hate to have to upgrade constantly.

Current Build:
-AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 140W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ965FBGIBOX - Retail
-4 Gigs G.SKill
-Debating on FX vs GX D: if you wanna help me decide on that too that'd be great, but its not the focus of this thread

It's a judgment call. The HD4890 is better but it also uses a ton more power/runs hotter and isn't DX11. Keep in mind if you get the HD5770 you could always crossfire later on, assuming you buy a crossfire motherboard.
What resolution are you using?

true. thanks everyone.

although this came to mind. if i plan for dx 11 - 256 bit bus, prices are gonna drop when they are more in demand (when more games demand dx11 and they mass produce those GPU's) and my dx 11 - 128 bit bus (the hd5770) will be obsolete (sorta). I could crossfire, but it'd be more money being dropped.

I am kind of leaning towards the HD5770 just because theres a combo deal with the PSU. :)

any final thoughts? When is dx11 suppose to arrive? 2010? 2011?
DX11 is already here.

other than the hd5770. at this point. i might not have to buy a MOBO / PSU becaues my friend bought extra's.. so my whole build is going to change again. not drastically. thanks again guys.
