uk hard drives prices have increased about 65% why?
basically jst looked at my shopping list on ebuyer and the wd hard drive went from 30 to 50 quid. huge difference on all hard drives any one know why?

major flooding. The prices skyrocketed on newegg and amazon too. I would avoid buying a HDD unless absolutely necessary. I bought two WD drives back in April. The 2TB WD Green drive went from $90 to $120 + shipping. The 1.5TB WD Green drive went from $60 to $80 + shipping. So in both cases the total price rose by over 40%
