Hello,

I accidently pasted a document on my desktop which I cannot seem to remove. It covers center 1/3 (top to bottom) of my desktop. I have loads of shortcut Icons but they barely show through. Sure hope I don't have to totally clear my desktop! Thank you for any suggestions!

Try this:

Right-Click on the desktop, not on a shortcut, select Properties.

Click the Desktop tab.

Look at the background image you see and the alternatives available, your picture might be the one selected.

Choose another background image, or none.

Click apply then Ok.
