Unwanted document accidentily pasted on desktop

Hello,

I accidently pasted a document on my desktop which I cannot seem to remove. It covers center 1/3 (top to bottom) of my desktop. I have loads of shortcut Icons but they barely show through. Sure hope I don't have to totally clear my desktop! Thank you for any suggestions!

It sounds like you changed the desktop background, so go into the desktop properties and remove it.
