Wd hard disk not run and freeze my mouse

when i connect wd hard disk light is on, but not running and the mouse freeze. on my laptop works perfect. thanks

1) Decribe the issue you are having in detail. For example if its with a specific piece of equipment, include the make and model.
2) When was it last working normally? Since then, did you add/remove any software or hardware?
3) What steps have you already tried to resolve the problem? (rebooted, searched google, etc)

My Western Digital external hard drive doesn't show up and my mouse freezes when its connected. it is a wdbaar3200abk it just stopped working for no apparent reason. it wont work on any other computer either the light is on but I cant see it in my computer.
