Stuttering with new games hdd raid or not

I want to raid but heres my possabilities.

1.Raid 0 1(10) with 4 1TB Seagate drives with software raid.
or
2. 1x VelociRaptor 300GB and 4x 1Tb drives not in raid.
or
3.Raid 0 1 with 4 1TB Seagate drives with hardware raid.

Which option would U take???????????????????????????

I play lots of games at high res as i hate it when my hdd light flashes non stop.I get lag like stuttering now and then as scenery is beign loaded so would like to minimize it a lot by raiding or with fast drive.Stalker is one example...constant hdd usage.I have 6gig of ram and running win7 64 bit.Hdd has duel boot xp & win7 & rest as storage.Help would realy be appreciated.Money not issue...want something fast any other ideas will be considered as well.

maybe looking at buying a 5870 hehe or another 4890 (X-fire)????

ocz summit or vertex/intel g2 ssd of a good size and 3x1tb drives in raid5
