My PC speaker makes a clicking sound

Hi there,
I recently upgraded my system by changing my PSU to a Thermaltake TX775 and my GPU up to a Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD6770 Silent Cell. My motherboarde is a Gigabyte GA-M56S-S3. Ever since the upgrade, a quite clicking sound comes from my PC speaker just before POST. It's something like this:
"click-click, click-click, click-click" for a bout 10 times lasting around 30 seconds. The system then boots and runs all day without any other problems, it's just on startup and restart.

At first I thought it might be an HDD seak issue but having disconnected all drives and reconnected them one at a time, that isn't the issue. Last night, I put the old GPU back in the system and the problem went away. Can any one offer a solution? The driver and software for everything in the PC is up-to-date.

Regards,
John.

Hi back,
I know I don't need the speaker at all but this issue is halting startup and preventing POST from starting until the 30 second period has finished. Any further ideas?

if it only happens with the gpu installed, i'd replace it.
