Cant get access to the entire memory of my external hard drive

am using a 150gb external had drive and when i wont to store items on it does not permit me to store above 14gb can anybody please help me

If it doesn't allow you to store a single continuous files larger than 4GB, the I think it is a problem with file system. Format your drive from FAT32 to NTFS.

If it works for larger than 4GB, but not your particular 14GB file, then I don't know what is happening. May be a CRC error.
