Hey guys im not sure whether my cpu is too hot for custom cooling,

Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300 2.80GHz overclocked to 3.60ghz stock voltage

Idle Temps:
*EDIT*24C

PRIME95 Full 100% load (10 minute stress)
56-57c Max

Gaming Temps
45-49c

FAN: Artic Freezer pro 7

Are these temps poor for an aftermarket cooler? should i buy another fan?thanks in advance

aaaa it aint a 65nm chip "Core 2 Duo" its a "Pentium Dual Core" 45nm Wolfdale...so im guessing these are bad temps for a 45nm cooler chip. dang

It is not really all that bad for a 45nm chip either. Sorry a bit tired and read your OP a bit wrong the first time through. You will not damage your chip any @ those temps.

I have a E5300 (stock 2.6GHz), same core/chip as yours, OCed to 3.6GHz on a cheap $15 Thermaltake cooler, and my temps are basically the same as yours. idles at 30'C, gaming at 50'C, and Prime95 at 58'C
