Acer aspire 4736z wireless adapter not working

what will i do if my wirelss adapter in my laptop is not working properly.there is no light in his indicator

Check the laptop manual for instructions on how to turn the wireless on.

Check Control Panel, System, Hardware, Device Manager to see if the wireless adapter is present an working.

Try a new driver from Acer or the wireless manufacturer.

If no luck, add a USB wireless adapter.

I have an acer laptop with atheros wireless adapter. The problem I pulled my hair out about was it showed to be turned on (wireless light on) (if not on push fn and f3) to turn on. It would always say their were no available networks when their were. To fix this I uninstall zone alarm.
