i'm buying a new system within a week.

i've planned to get Q8300.
so help me choosing the MB and memory for me.

MB > P31 or P35 or G31 or G41
RAM > 2GB DDR 2 or DDR 3 (singal channel at current moment, may be upgrade to 2 *2GB later) or 1GB DDR 2 Dual Channel
Graphic > 4650OC DDR 2 1GB or 4670 DDR2 1GB or 4670DDR 3 512 MB

note 1. i want my budget as small as possible
note 2. i don't have any access to AMD
note 3. my current monitor is Samsung 22" 1600*900 DVI,VGA
note 4. i'll use this for music, DVD movies on my monitor, games (WOW, CNC General Zero Hour, CounterStrike, COD 4, COD 5, and small games)
note 5.***** i want to use this pc for next 4 years

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

1- The Q8300 is a old socket, IMO u should no go with a rig with that socket.
2- What do u mean with that u don't have any access to AMD? ur local store don't sell AMD?
3- Good monitor
4- Like I can see, u need a mid end rig.
5- A good rig, even the more expensive only have a life of 2 or 3 years max, so, don't spec a 4 years life with the same performance that u can see today.

finnal i decide to go with

core i3 2.93GHz + Gigabyte H55S2H.

-so how about this combo
-i read in somewhere ( i can't remember which forum) intel HD graphic on i3 is better than ATI 4350, isn't it? or which games can i play with intel at 1024 resolution?
-the MB has 2 PCIE (16x and 4 x) slots, so can i use 2 4650 on that? (it tell cross fire support, software only)<i'll get 4650 now and another card later christmas>
-if so what singal card performance is comparable with 4650 (16x) + 4650 (4x)
