Hello,
my cd/rom does not show up in my computer just my c drive. Device manager shows it so i right clicked and uninstalled it then reinstalled it rebooted my computer still nothing any suggestions thanks Ted

Make sure both cables are plugged in on both ends good.

Is it dead? I have seen your symptoms happen with a defective drive. Try it in another computer to be sure.
