I'm waiting on my new case to arrive, and I was wondering when I transfer to my new case what precautions should I take when handling my motherboard?

Move all the case wiring out of the way and tie it down to make room for the board. Check the alignment of the case stand offs before mounting the board, and be sure the new backplate is square all around and not crooked. You may also have to bend some tangs up and slide the board under them to prevent interference.
