Primary drive 1 not found what do I do dont have any recovery discs

does the bios detect a hard disk? is there an operating system on it? a lot of times people wipe the drives before selling their computers. if you dont already own a windows license you can put on the computer you can contact the manufacturer to try to order some system restore discs or you can put a free operating system on it like Ubuntu or Fedora.

it worked fine until my ex-girlfriend started screwing with it ,to answer your questions yes, and yes and I will try one of the other systems thank you for your time. Dave R.
