HD 7970 Waterblock

I have the Gigabyte Windforce 7970 graphics card and I decided to upgrade to liquid cooling. Will it be compatible with waterblocks or will I need to trade/sell it for a "reference" design one? Also, which brand/model do you recommend I get if I need to do so? (Does any company/model use better build material?) Thanks.

the first one is a copper block, that's the one I would choose. and is yours the OC edition, this is for the non OC board.
