OK Built a new system with new

Gigabyte gigabyte ga-ma770t-ud3p MOBO
Athlon II 630 x4
Ati radeon 4850
2gb OCZ 1333 ddr3 ram

built the computer. It gave me 4 long beeps.. repeating... Manual said videocard issue ( i was running a Geforce6800GS at the time... So i took the card out and put it back in a few times... And it WORKED. So i installed Windows and ran some benchmarks.

I wake up the next morning and it doesnt work. again.... i try doing the same thing with the card and it didnt work. So i freaked out and went and bought the ATI 4850HD and threw it in.. Didnt work.

SO i took the computer to a specialist.. he tested the power supply with a meter said it was fine.. He said it is the motherboard thats the problem. because it would beep without anything in it.. those same 4 beeps. So i went to the store and got it replaced. Put in the new mobo... And it still just beeps.... Sometimes when i boot it doesnt beep sometimes it does.

I cant see anything on the screen.

All the fans on everything turn on.

I am running a 460 watt power supply... this might be the issue? Im running out of ideas ive been working on this for a week.

I havent tried breadboarding it, but i dont think the wires for power and leds and reset will reach from my computer case.

Ive read the stickied thread on new builds countless times.

Which power supply is it? PSU just might not be getting enough juice to the CPU. I have seen it happen with a couple Logisys power supplies. They worked fine with a dual core Athlon II, but if you tried a triple or quad the PSU would choke.

Its a Coolermaster 460 watt powersupply

It doesnt have an 8 pin power plug to go in the 2x4 power on the motherboard. so i am just running the 2x2 4 pin wire into it... Im thinking this might be the issue.. But it will suck a lot of ass if this isnt the problem.

I already blew 600 bucks on parts... and paid 75 bucks for some jackass to test everything and tell me its the MOBO.. and when i get the MOBO replaced.. It doesnt work.. :(

If i do wanna fork out more money for a PSU what wattage am i looking at? The specialist said 460 is enough.
