How can I tell if Crossfire is working for HD5770?

I'm new to this computer thing but I'm learning. I just built my first rig and everything works find but what I'm not so sure of is rather Crossfire is working or not. I have 2 hd 5770 set up for crossfire and they seem to be running (or atleast both fans are running) but the ati catalyst center diagnostics only shows 1 graphic card. I have crossfire enable but when when i hit identify GPU it shows the number 1. Is this suppose to happen? Sorry if this gives people any headache, just the new kid on the computing block. Tips? Answers? Anything, Thanks!

If you open up catalyst control center and go to the information center hardware tab, it should show both 5770's in the dropdown menu. Another option is do download GPUZ http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/, which will tell you everything you need to know.
