How difficult is it to change cases? I have an HP p6130y with a pegatron m2n78-la MOBO, HIS Radeon HD4670 card.

I have a basic knowledge, I have replaced fans/heatsinks, cards, RAM that sort of stuff but have never done a build or case swap.

Thanks

Not so useful information.

I upgraded the case for my motherboard. Unfortunately, the new case has separate connectors for the power, reset, and HDD light on the front panel, instead of the single block that the HP case had.

So, I'm not sure which cable goes on which set of pins on the F_PANEL block. There's another block of connectors nearby, and on the diagram (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01635734&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3980095#N449) it looks like there is a set of pins with a "PW" label. I'm not sure if that's supposed to be for the CMOS or BIOS password reset or if it's for power. (Which is normally abbreviated "PWR".)

Oh well, I guess I will just have to rip the case apart until I can figure out which wires go to the power button.

So much for good documentation..... </sigh>
