Hi, I haven't been able to find the answer to this question after an exhaustive search, so I was hoping someone here would have some insight :D

I have this case: http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/product1.php?Type=Mg==&id=Njc0
(The full size P180B that is now discontinued.)

I am looking to upgrade the PSU to this: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371036#spec

I know that this PSU will fit in the Antec P183 (newer version of P180) but I don't know for sure if it will also work in the P180B.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and offering any advice you may have :hello:

Solution
The CP series of PSU's are known to fit in only 3 Antec cases:

1200
P193
p183

http://www.antec.com/pdf/manuals/CP850_Manual_EN.pdf

The CPX form factor is exclusively compatible with Antec’s cutting-edge Gaming and
Performance One cases, including the Twelve Hundred, P183 and P193. For an updated list of
models supported please visit www.antec.com/cp850.

here's the dimensions:

CP-850 4.7"(H) x 6.9"(W) x 7.9"(D)
SG-850 3.4"(H) x 5.9"(W) x 7.1"(D) (normal size PSU)

Solution
Jack - I hope newegg.com made a mistake. They are showing a sale price of $269.99 for the Antec Signature SG-850. :(

Just checked several vendors. That psu can be purchased for $50.00 less and free shipping. :)

Glad to see my Seasonic X-650 Gold Certified power supply made the Silent PC recommended list. I can confirm that it is a very quiet psu due to new design features. PSU temp has to climb up to the toasty range before the fan kicks in.

$219 today....was $204 when my son bought one in October....new SG-1200 should drop any day Gold Certified .... and Corsair's HX line looks in for a revamping.....80 plus site is showing Gold for 750 and 850 HX line with the tests having been run 6 months ago.....no new catalog numbers but stores seem to only have the silver ones.

Enermax has 16 Gold ones coming and Thermaltake 8 .... none as big as the SG-1200 ...whaddya think it will pop for ..? .... $375 ?
