New system build advice needed

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: gaming/some vid rendering

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: mouse, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: I really don't have a preference
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: U.S

PARTS PREFERENCES: i5 750 (i can get it for $150 locally)or phenom 550 be

OVERCLOCKING: Yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: probably not

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080 probably

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: i mostly plan to play some MW2 and CS on this computer i do not need any fancy lights or anything just a computer that'll play games and hold up for next 2-3 years.

i decided to go with the i5 , i was wondering if anyone could point me to the right direction as far as motherboards go??... and also radeon 4870 or gtx 260?.. some help please!!

Because it is a new build, I'd look at the ATI 5800 cards.
