Dear Community,
I just slightly overclock my 2500K to 4ghz, running great and everything. I used to have an Athlon II x3 OVERCLOCK as well as my Ram http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0360526
Thats my ram it use to run cool and stable at 1519mhz on my old AMD system. I see the Intel bios multiplier andd FSB is not interconnected like the AMD is, it just give me the options to 1066, 1333, 1600 and so on. I was wondering if you think is fine to just select the option to 1600mhz? How harmful is for the Mobo, CPU memory controller etc? I know the ram can take it based on my past experience. Finally, is it worth it? Thank you I would appreciate all your help.
