I've found so far 3 motherboards:
MSI NF980-G65
And another one ( ASUS M4N82 Deluxe ) which is only DDR2 and AM2+ compatible.

Which one would be the best for use with a nVidia SLI and a Phenom II X4 965 BE ?

Never mind, the ASUS M4N98TD EVO has no IGP, so no HybridPower nor Ready Boost... the MSI NF980-G65 is clearly the best!

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

For an AMD rig is better use AMD chipset even if u use a single nVidia GPU since the AMD CPUs doesn't work fine with nVidia chipset.

Now, for SLI is better Intel since have much better mobos that support SLI. Like a personal advice is better go with Crossfire today.

The only problem is that I'd like to try 3D Vision, and that is only possible with a GeForce... and there are no recent Intel platforms supporting nForce!
Could you please direct me to some tests showing that the nVidia chipset has a problem with AMD CPU's?

Intel platforms doesn't have nVidia chipset, those have Intel chipset that can handle Crossfire and SLI.

A specific benchmark for nVidia chipset and AMD CPUs doesn't exist since the nVidia chipset isn't very used.
