I have an old 3000 series which is still going strong,(upgraded to 100mb
HD) and a buddy now wants a Replay and is asking me which one is best. I
notice the website has some reconditioned 4500 units and some 5000 units,
which is the better... I'm having a hard time finding the difference...
TIA

The 5000 series seems to be more reliable and more people seem to have
them which makes showsharing easier. I used to have a 4160 but traded it
in for a 5160 to match my other RTV units.
