the ram is very cheap right now do you think i should go for it and will it work with the ASUS motherboard? or buy the faster one for 105?

thanks for the quick reply. do you have any recommendations for graphic cards? i was thinking 4870 or 4770 or even maybe 4890 but not sure which one.
also am i missing anything else? or any other things i need to buy? thx

There's a big difference between the 4770 and the 4890. What do you plan to use the PC for?

Some gaming like modern warfare 2 and l4d-2 and eventually starcraft 2. I kinda screwed up and meant 5770 sry

4890 or gtx275 should be okay.

5850, gtx285 or 5870 would be better, but a lot more expensive.

If you're going with windows 7, try to find a 5850 (they're hard to find in stock, but have dx11 support). If you don't care about the dx11 support, there are some good prices on the 4890.
